3rd set victory for Niederdorf

In the beginning, Oberdorf had a very difficult time in what seemed like a broom closet in Niederdorf. The very low ceiling and the narrow conditions gave the Niederdörfer point after point. So it is not surprising that the first set was quietly lost by 25 to 12. In the second set, Oberdorf was able to improve massively and held up very well until the middle of the set. But then Niederdorf turned up the heat again and pulled away, first slowly and then more and more quickly, to win the second set. The Niederdörfers also won the second set with 25 to 16. But then the third set came and Oberdorf literally turned up the heat. The Niederdörfers, who were now making a strong contribution, showed their nerves for the first time. Oberdorf subsequently increased the lead in the 3rd set and was well in front. It almost seemed clear that there would be a fourth set. The Oberdörfer had already collected 24 points, Niederdorf their 17th serve Niederdorf, Oberdorf was one point missing... but the mistakes kept piling up. Niederdorf caught up. Suddenly it was 24:24 - Niederdorf was still serving. Another mistake by Oberdörfer (apparently everyone wanted to go to the bar)... and sentence number three was dry again - for Niederdorf.
